Merkel confident EU will find solution

German Chancellor Angela Merkel states she is convinced Europe will find the right solutions to its crippling debt crisis at a summit due to begin shortly in Brussels.

Merkel’S told a meeting of right-wing European parties in Marseille, Europe will find good solutions, but admits that speaks will be difficult at the EU summit.

She’s called for understanding from nations who do not have the euro, saying the Eurozone must send a strong signal to the outside with more ties and treaty changes.

‘We will find good solutions. I’m convinced that we will find a solution to all these questions,’ Merkel told a meeting of right-wing European parties in Marseille, admitting that speaks would be ‘difficult’ at the EU summit.

‘I ask for understanding from those who do not have the euro. We must send a strong signal to the outside. Words alone are not enough, we need more ties, we need treaty changes,’ she said.
